The design process begins with the use of 3D software to create the intricate details of the ring. A 3D printed wax mold is then used to cast the ring in 18K gold, which is meticulously polished by hand. Finally, a high-quality diamond is delicately set into the ring, adding a touch of timeless beauty.
With dimensions of 20 mm x 0.7 mm x 24 mm, Sprout is designed to be worn on the middle finger of a woman's left hand, just like an ordinary engagement ring. Its comfortable fit and eye-catching design make it a perfect choice for those looking to propose in a unique and meaningful way.
The Sprout project began in January 2021 in Shanghai and was completed in June 2021. Throughout the design process, Lianghao Zha faced the challenge of achieving organic and complex 3D shapes within the constraints of a small ring. However, his dedication and creativity resulted in a stunning piece of jewelry that perfectly captures the essence of love and growth.

Inspired by a poem and designed to propose to his wife, Lianghao Zha's unique ring played a significant role in a successful proposal. Its recognition in the form of the Iron A' Design Award in 2023 further highlights its well-designed, practical, and innovative nature.
