In the realm of home appliances, the quest for efficiency and specialized care has led to the creation of the Mini Washer and Dryer by Guangdong Soseki Technology Co., Ltd. This innovative machine has been designed to cater specifically to the cleaning and maintenance of underwear, a category often neglected by conventional washing machines. Its compact dimensions of 490*300*400mm make it a perfect fit for modern living spaces.
The inspiration behind this groundbreaking appliance emerged from the discovery that nanobubbles could provide a gentle yet effective cleaning method, eliminating the need for abrasive mechanical components. This led to the development of micro bubble suspension technology, which forms the core of the Mini's operation. The technology ensures clothes are suspended and cleaned without the harsh treatment found in traditional machines, thereby preserving the integrity of delicate fabrics.
What sets the Mini apart is its ability to wash, dry, and sterilize undergarments without causing damage or wrinkles. The machine's micro bubble suspension technology releases countless nanobubbles to clean thoroughly, while its airtight tub dries garments at low temperatures under negative pressure. This method not only maintains the softness of the fabrics but also extends their lifespan.
The design team, including Hong Zhang, Jianhong Zou, and Bo Liu, has ingeniously integrated the air and water ducts within a single tub. This design overcomes common issues such as dampness and bacterial growth found in dual-tub systems. Moreover, the Mini is constructed from a degradable blend of PC and ABS, reflecting a commitment to sustainability through green manufacturing processes.
Operation of the Mini is a breeze, with a user-friendly control panel and a side detergent cartridge equipped with an auto dosing system. This ensures the correct amount of detergent is used every time, addressing the common problem of dosing inaccuracies. The machine's combination of germicidal laundry detergent, UV, and pasteurization guarantees a sterilization rate of over 99.9%, offering peace of mind for health-conscious consumers.
The Mini's journey from concept to market took place in Shunde, China, with research beginning in December 2021 and the product launch in May 2023. The design team's research highlighted a preference among Chinese women for hand-washing underwear, a practice driven by hygiene concerns and dissatisfaction with traditional machines. This insight was pivotal in shaping the Mini's development, leading to a design that addresses both cleanliness and convenience.
Recognized for its practicality and innovation, the Mini Washer and Dryer received the Iron A' Design Award in 2024. This accolade is a testament to the product's ability to integrate industry best practices and technical excellence, enhancing the user experience and contributing to a better, more efficient world of home appliance design.
