Designer Sina Moloudnezhadnaghadeh Crafts a Tale of Tenacity

The ring's design is deeply rooted in the narrative of Kurdish resistance, particularly the valor of women against oppression. Sina Moloudnezhadnaghadeh has skillfully translated this powerful history into a wearable piece of art. The ring's name itself, "Resistance is Life," echoes the Kurdish slogan that has become synonymous with their struggle. The design pays homage to the purple flowers of Kurdistan's mountains, which bloom defiantly through the snow, symbolizing life's persistence against all odds.

In its creation, the ring underwent a meticulous design process, adhering to the Lean Startup methodology. The initial Minimum Viable Product was refined based on market feedback, leading to the final iteration crafted in 18-carat white gold. The choice of lab-created stones over precious ones was a strategic decision to align with the project's ethos and make the ring more accessible.

Technical precision is evident in the ring's specifications, with careful consideration given to its size, stone placement, and weight. The ring is designed to be both visually striking and comfortable for daily wear, with a hollowed inner part to reduce weight and cost, while the solid base allows for resizing. The design journey spanned several months, from conception in Urmia to completion in Tehran.
