At the heart of Osaka, Japan, a revolutionary office space emerges, conceptualized by the visionary designer, Shunsuke Ohe. Dubbed 'Eiju,' this office transcends conventional work environments with its dual-themed design, which has garnered the Bronze A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2024. Eiju's main floor is a serene sanctuary where nature and modernity coexist, while the sub-floor transforms into a vibrant cruise ship, offering a refreshing workspace alternative.

The main floor of Eiju is an architectural marvel, where visitors are greeted by a 24-piece arched monument at the entrance, reminiscent of a majestic tree. This space is a testament to biophilic design, with an abundance of greenery adorning walls, floors, and ceilings, creating an oasis of calm. The use of natural wooden materials further accentuates the connection to the earth, striking a perfect balance between the built and natural environments.

Shunsuke Ohe's attention to detail is evident in the choice of materials and colors. The ceiling and walls, adorned with cloth and paint, complement the lush greenery and glass elements, while the floor's carpet and PVC tiles ensure comfort and durability. The office spans an area of 148.8 square meters on the first floor and 38.9 square meters on the second, each space meticulously designed to cater to different moods and working styles.

The office's functionality is as impressive as its aesthetics. The main floor boasts a variety of seating options, from high counters to personal booths, alongside two distinct meeting rooms—one soundproofed for privacy and another with glass walls for openness. A bar counter and sofas provide a space for relaxation, reinforcing the design's commitment to employee well-being. The sub-floor's conference room, with its blue and white color palette, louver panels, and indirect lighting, simulates the experience of being aboard a sunlit cruise ship.
