The design of Seóra is a hybrid of a hammock, a chaise longue, and an armchair. It's a reflection of the designer's creative genius, drawing inspiration from the plush padding of an American armchair and the typical hammock from Cuba. The result is a unique piece of furniture that offers the comfort of an armchair and the relaxation of a hammock.
Seóra stands out from conventional hammocks with its unique design and high-quality materials. Made from Birch marine plywood and stainless steel, it provides an ultimate hammock experience. Unlike traditional hammocks made of net and fabric, Seóra takes the shape of your body, allowing you to relax in a correct posture without slouching.
One of the distinctive features of Seóra is its adjustable footrest. This feature, along with the integrated armrests that open when needed, ensures ideal comfort for the user. The stand, made from stainless steel, can be disassembled into three pieces for easy storage, further enhancing its practicality.
The technical specifications of Seóra are a testament to its thoughtful design. With a length of 3100mm, a width of 1000mm, and a height of 1100mm, it offers ample space for relaxation. The use of Birch marine plywood and stainless steel in its construction ensures its durability and aesthetic appeal.
Seóra's recognition as the winner of the Golden A' Furniture Design Award in 2012 is a testament to its outstanding design. The award is granted to creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom, embody extraordinary excellence, and significantly impact the world with their desirable characteristics. Seóra, with its innovative design and aesthetic appeal, truly embodies these qualities.
