Integrating mechanical and technical constructions, Bram Kerkhofs drew inspiration from the forces generated by friction and gravity to create the Heron lighting fixture. The design of this adjustable lamp is a consequence of the technique used, resulting in a form that evokes the grace and elegance of a heron.

What sets the Heron apart is its ability to adapt to different positions, allowing you to light up walls, ceilings, or floors. With a reach of up to 250 cm, this lamp can be extended to brighten even the darkest corners of your space. In its smallest position, it sits a mere 20 cm from the wall, making it a space-saving solution.

The elements of the Heron are equipped with holes that allow them to be held together by a rod fitted with screw threads. This unique design feature enables the lamp to be easily adjusted and clamped, creating a frictional connection between the different components. Additionally, the Heron offers a touch-sensitive dimming function, allowing you to control the intensity of the light with a simple touch.

Constructed using a combination of oak, oak plywood, aluminum, metal, PMMA/aluminum LED tube profiles, leather, stainless steel bolts, polyester balls, and electronic components, the Heron is a testament to Bram Kerkhofs' craftsmanship. Each piece is meticulously produced in his own studio, ensuring the highest quality and attention to detail.

With dimensions of 100 mm in width (fixing point to the wall), 2500 mm in depth (horizontal position), 200 mm in depth (vertical position), 1500 mm in height (vertical position), and 180 mm in height (fixing point to the wall; horizontal position), the Heron is designed to seamlessly blend into any interior.

The Heron is part of Bram Kerkhofs' FFFF&O line (Form Follows Function Furniture and Objects), which also includes a chair, a table, and an outdoor bench. This collection showcases Bram's dedication to creating functional and aesthetically pleasing designs that enhance the lifestyle of the user.
