Evinoks Design Team's Innovative Approach to Mobile, Modular Food Service

The inspiration behind VITAL was the need for proficiency in food service. The Evinoks Design Team recognized that people on vacation or those taking a coffee break during an event should not have to go out of their way to access food. Instead, food should be readily available, whether hot or cold, wherever they are. This led to the creation of VITAL, a buffet series that can be set up anytime and anywhere, including hallways, rooftop decks, poolsides, and gardens.

VITAL's unique properties set it apart from other buffet systems. The product group consists of carrying tables and buffets, offering both electrical and non-electrical solutions for heating and cooling. The buffets come in 1/1 and 2/1GN sizes, and the innovative horizontal folding table can save up to 80% space when not in use. The buffets are portable and can be stored in a cabinet, providing a practical and efficient solution for food service.

The production of VITAL involves conventional manufacturing methods. The sheet metal parts are cut by laser cutting, ensuring precision and quality. The technical specifications of the design are meticulously detailed, with different sizes available for hot and cold buffets, as well as the tables. The design is also modular, with tables that can be connected to each other by bridging or linking parts to make up a serving line.

The development of VITAL was based on extensive field research. The Evinoks Design Team analyzed the real needs of their customers, observing workflows in hotels to design a mobile and modular buffet that truly meets these needs. The design process was not without its challenges, such as making the buffet technically compatible with hot, cold, and ambient systems, and designing a folding table that is robust without supporting constructional connections at the bottom. However, these challenges were successfully overcome, making VITAL unrivaled in the category it created.
