Heat X: A Revolutionary Cooking Pot

Efficiency and Innovation Combined

Inspired by the unique super-circle shape, Heat X is a cooking pot designed by Hakan Gürsu to revolutionize the cooking experience. With its innovative features and efficient design, Heat X aims to provide a new level of cooking efficiency, size, and volume.

The structural ceramic design of Heat X creates a helix-type smooth space curve and a hot airway through its surface, resulting in a new heating approach. This design allows heated air to flow through the bottom holes and rise up in the airway between the ceramic and metal walls, ensuring efficient and even heating. The air in the airway space can easily escape through the upper holes, further enhancing the cooking process.

One of the standout features of Heat X is its rotating handles. These handles not only make it easier to transport the pot from the stove, even with the cover on, but they also serve as a safety measure to prevent burn injuries. The ergonomic design ensures a comfortable and secure grip, making cooking a hassle-free experience.

Another notable aspect of Heat X is its double-layered metal bottom. This design provides superior heat distribution, surpassing that of traditional pots. Not only does this enhance the cooking performance, but it also adds to the pot's aesthetic appeal, giving it a sturdy and tangible look.

When it comes to the production process, Heat X combines stainless steel and ceramic. The metal parts are produced using cold press and spinning processes, while the ceramic part is created through slip casting ceramic manufacturing. This combination of materials ensures a durable and efficient cooking pot.

Heat X boasts impressive specifications, with a 280mm diameter and a cooking size of 7 liters. Its dimensions measure 370mm x 320mm x 200mm, making it a versatile and practical addition to any kitchen.

The design of Heat X was a result of extensive research and experimentation. The team at Designnobis examined materials with different heat absorption properties and ultimately selected ceramic due to its affordability, abundance, and local availability. This choice allowed for the perfect combination with stainless steel, resulting in a highly efficient cooking pot.

Overcoming creative, technical, and research challenges, Heat X represents a breakthrough in cooking pot design. Its unique features and innovative approach to heating make it a standout product in the market.

Heat X was completed in 2017 in Ankara, Turkey, by the talented Designnobis team. The design has received recognition for its excellence, winning the Bronze A' Design Award in the Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware, and Cookware Design category in 2017. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that exhibit outstanding creativity and resourcefulness, incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology. Heat X truly contributes to improving the quality of life and making the world a better place.
