The Times Bund Clubhouse is a three-story building, each floor serving a unique purpose. The first floor operates primarily as a sales center, with the added functions of a bar and a multi-functional conference room. The second floor is dedicated solely to sales offices. The basement level houses a fitness club, complete with a themed swimming center, gym, dance room, and basketball court.
What sets this design apart is its innovative approach to spatial design. Lin's design breaks away from traditional horizontal and vertical space vision, using geometric modeling and 3D design to create a unique spatial experience. The staircase connecting the three floors is designed in a flowing line form, resembling a sculpture and adding an artistic touch to the functional space.
The materials used in the construction of the Times Bund Clubhouse were carefully selected to maintain a sense of nobility and quality. The materials include notch wood, venge, oak, Persian wood, maple, pear fluor-carbon paint, Venus beige, beige opalina, tundla grey, karibi, brown sugar, volakas, mosaic, tawny mirror, tawny glass, acryl, horsehair, fabrics, and carbon color wiredrawing stainless steel.
The design of the Times Bund Clubhouse has been recognized for its innovation and excellence. It was awarded the Golden A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2014. This prestigious award is granted to outstanding creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom, and significantly impact the world with their desirable characteristics.
Located in Guangzhou, China, the Times Bund Clubhouse is a testament to Kris Lin's innovative design approach. It is a space that not only serves its functional purpose but also stands as a work of art, challenging traditional spatial concepts and offering a unique spatial experience.
