NI: The Innovative LED Parasol

A Fusion of Function and Style

What sets NI apart from other parasols is its ability to serve multiple functions. With its proprietary finger-sensing OTC (one-touch dimmer), users can easily control the brightness of the 3-channel lighting system. The system consists of two down lights and one up light, all of which can be controlled separately. This allows users to create the perfect ambiance for any occasion, whether it's next to sun loungers during the day or along the riverside at night.

NI is not only aesthetically pleasing but also environmentally friendly. It uses a low-voltage 12V LED driver that generates little heat, ensuring energy efficiency. Despite its impressive lighting capabilities, the total power consumption of the NI system is equivalent to that of just three 60W incandescent light bulbs.

The construction of NI is as impressive as its functionality. It features a strong aluminum frame with outdoor powder coating, making it durable and suitable for outdoor use. The shade fabric is made from Sunbrella, a renowned brand known for its quality. Additionally, NI is equipped with an IP connector for each light, allowing for easy LED replacement.

NI was designed with convenience in mind. Its one-touch dimmer functions like a smartphone, with finger motion sensors that make it easy to adjust the lights. For commercial users, a remote control has been developed that can control up to 8 pieces of parasols, ensuring simple and effective operation in resorts and other luxury locations.

The journey of NI began in February 2013 in Hong Kong, China, with the initial idea conceived in December 2012. The first prototype was completed in January 2014 and later exhibited at the International Furniture Fair Singapore in March 2014. Throughout the design process, the team conducted extensive research and testing to ensure the best possible outcome.

NI has received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2014. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that exhibit strong technical and creative skills, contributing to quality of life improvements.
