Nissan Skyline: A Hybrid Evolution

Revolutionizing the Traditional with E-graphics Communications

Unveiling the Nissan Skyline, a hybrid marvel that redefines the brand's identity. This article explores the design process, unique features, and the inspiration behind this award-winning project.

The Nissan Skyline, a name synonymous with Japanese sport sedans, has undergone a transformation under the creative direction of E-graphics communications. The design team, led by Tomohira Kodama, Yoshihiro Mimura, Junichi Yokoyama, and Mao Takahashi, has reimagined the Skyline, creating a new worldview of the hybrid brand from Nissan x Infiniti.

What sets this design apart is the absence of Nissan logos, both on the exterior and the interior. Instead, the car proudly sports the Infiniti logo, marking a shift in the brand's identity. Despite this change, the vehicle retains its iconic name, Skyline, signifying the blend of tradition and innovation.

The design team aimed to create a premium sport sedan that is uniquely Japanese, differentiating it from the glamorous worldview of Infiniti brand or the European taste of BMW, Audi, and Mercedes. The result is a vehicle that embodies luxury and performance, encapsulated in a 250mm x 250mm, 54-page brochure that perfectly captures the essence of this new Skyline.

One of the major challenges faced by the design team was enhancing the already luxurious image of the Nissan Skyline. The team succeeded in creating a brochure that not only conveys the luxury and premium feel of the car but also pushes the boundaries of design and innovation.

The Nissan Skyline's unique design and innovative approach have not gone unnoticed. In 2015, it was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in Advertising, Marketing, and Communication Design. This prestigious award is granted to outstanding creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom, advancing art, science, design, and technology.

In conclusion, the Nissan Skyline, under the creative direction of E-graphics communications, is a testament to the power of design and innovation. It represents a new era for the brand, one that seamlessly blends tradition and modernity, creating a vehicle that is truly unique and deserving of its accolades.
