Dewy was initially designed in December 2012 as part of Maria Anwar's portfolio. The 3D design project started in December 2014 and was completed within a week. It was a class project during Maria's CAD/CAM class at GIA New York. The exceptional design of Dewy earned it the prestigious "Students Choice Award" at the campus in December 2014.

Creating Dewy came with its fair share of challenges. The most significant hurdle was designing the leaf emerging from the smooth surface of the circle on a 3D software. However, through perseverance and experimentation with different commands, Maria Anwar successfully overcame this obstacle, resulting in a flawless design.
