PX-8 Time Tunnel: A Watch with a Special 3D Light Effect

The inspiration for the PX-8 Time Tunnel design came from the captivating visuals of sci-fi movies. The designers at PIXO TEAM wanted to recreate the mesmerizing "Time Tunnel" effect in a wearable accessory. The result is a watch that not only tells time but also creates a virtual depth light effect, reminiscent of those iconic movie scenes.

What sets the PX-8 Time Tunnel apart from other watches is its ability to activate a special 3D light effect. By simply pressing the Light button, the watch comes to life with a stunning display of lights. The virtual depth effect adds a touch of magic and intrigue to the overall design, making it a truly unique timepiece.

The realization of the PX-8 Time Tunnel required the development of a tailor-made watch movement. This movement seamlessly combines analog functionality with LED technology, allowing for the creation of the mesmerizing light effect. The designers at PIXO TEAM spared no effort in ensuring that every detail of the watch was meticulously crafted to perfection.

Technical specifications of the PX-8 Time Tunnel include a case size of 50 x 56 x 17 MM (WxLxH) and a strap width of 22 MM. The watch case is made of reinforced plastic with a stainless steel top ring, while the strap is made of comfortable silicon rubber. The combination of materials ensures durability and comfort, making it suitable for everyday wear.

Operating the PX-8 Time Tunnel is simple and intuitive. Users can pull and turn the crown to set the time, while the Light button activates the mesmerizing 3D light effect. The watch offers four light colors to choose from: orange, red, blue, and white. Each color adds a unique touch to the overall design, allowing users to customize their watch to suit their style.

The PX-8 Time Tunnel was designed and realized over a period of 9 months in Hong Kong. The dedication and attention to detail put into this project are evident in the final product.
