Thorny Tulip: A Bold and Beautiful Floral Jewelry Design

A Unique Collection of Rings and Pendants

Using Gemvision Matrix 8, Mirzamohammadi meticulously modeled the Thorny Tulip collection. The designs were then 3D-printed in wax using an Envisiontec 3D printer and finally produced through the casting process. Crafted from polished 18K yellow gold and adorned with brilliant cut diamonds, each piece exudes elegance and sophistication.

The Thorny Tulip collection features rings with a diameter of 18mm and pendants with a length of 56mm. The 2Ct white brilliant cut diamonds add a touch of sparkle and luxury to these exquisite pieces of jewelry.

One of the main challenges in creating this collection was ensuring that the thorns were placed in a way that prevented any chance of injury to the skin. Mirzamohammadi successfully overcame this obstacle, allowing the thorns to be visually striking without compromising safety.

The Thorny Tulip collection was developed in Tehran, Iran, starting in late October 2014 and completed in February 2015. It is expected to be available in the market by April 2015. This unique and innovative design has already been recognized with a prestigious Silver A' Design Award in the Jewelry, Eyewear, and Watch Design category in 2015. This award acknowledges the exceptional creativity, technical expertise, and innovation demonstrated by the Thorny Tulip collection.
