The Roomkitchen: A New Standard in Kitchen Design

Revolutionizing the Concept of a Kitchen

The Roomkitchen, designed by Björn Ischi, is a groundbreaking innovation that redefines the traditional kitchen space. With its unique design and functionality, it offers a fresh perspective on how we interact with our kitchens.

When it comes to kitchen design, there are often challenges related to space, cleanliness, and simplicity. The Roomkitchen addresses these issues head-on, providing a solution that is both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional. By eliminating rough edges and corners, this kitchen design is easy to clean and maintain, making it a practical choice for any home.

What sets the Roomkitchen apart from other kitchen designs is its versatility. Acting as a room divider, it seamlessly integrates into any living space, creating a meeting point for people to come together and cook. With access on two sides, it offers convenience and accessibility, allowing multiple individuals to work in the kitchen simultaneously.

One of the key strengths of the Roomkitchen is its customizability. The base frame, made of compressed wood, can be produced in any desired size, giving customers the freedom to assemble the kitchen according to their preferences. This flexibility ensures that the Roomkitchen can adapt to different spatial requirements and design aesthetics.

Utilizing high-quality materials, the Roomkitchen is built to last. The base frame is made of Staron, a durable and easy-to-clean material that is resistant to acids and scratches. The rest of the kitchen is constructed using MDF, with customizable color options available.

Measuring at a width of 3318mm, height of 2368mm, and depth of 1200mm, the Roomkitchen can also be extended in 600mm increments, allowing for further customization to suit individual needs.

The Roomkitchen represents a new era in kitchen design, combining innovation, simplicity, and functionality. It offers a fresh perspective on how we interact with our kitchens, providing a space that is not only practical but also aesthetically pleasing. By pressing the kitchen rather than building it, Björn Ischi has created a design that is truly unique and groundbreaking.
