The creation of the Cosmic Lounge Chair was a labor of love, taking 16 weeks from the initial sketches to the final prototype for mass production. The entire process, from design to manufacturing, took place in the laboratory and prototype design in Mérida, Yucatán, México.

The development of the Cosmic Lounge Chair involved extensive research and engineering studies. Laboratory tests and vector engineering studies were conducted to ensure the angular lines connected reliably and durably. The cushion system underwent a special study to achieve perfect ergonomics.

One of the main challenges faced during the design process was optimizing the manufacturing process. High-tech machinery was utilized to achieve maximum performance of the materials and streamline the production process. The final touches, however, were completed by hand in the upholstery, adding a unique character to each piece.
