The unique properties of the WINGUARD Snow’G WH2 design lie in its reindeer-inspired motif. The directional tread pattern, designed for optimal driving on snow-piled roads, mimics the reindeer's movement. The application of special 3D sipes and a zig-zag shape offer stability and excellent grip, even on icy surfaces.

The tire's realization technology further enhances its performance. The 3D sipe provides excellent edge performance on dry, snowy, or icy roads while maintaining block stiffness for improved handling and braking performance. The V-shaped lateral groove design and performance-enhancing compounds improve driving in wet and snowy conditions. The number of blocks has been increased by 20% to improve grip performance on snowy roads.

The tire's specifications include a height of 635mm, a width of 204mm, a weight of 9.48kg, and a size of 195 / 65R 15inch 95T. The tire type is PCR / Winter HP / Directional Pattern. The design tags include Tire, Winter tire, snow design, Aggressive design, and ZigZag.

The design was realized with the help of team members Seung-il Choi, Soung-Tae Shin, and Jong-Soo Park. The tire operates using the Optimized Carcass Contour System (OCCS), which reinforces driving stability and maintains an optimum structural shape even at high speeds.

The design project was carried out between May 2014 and June 2015. The underlying research for the design focused on optimizing driving performance in winter weather conditions. The design faced creative and technical challenges, including maintaining block stiffness while providing excellent edge performance on various road conditions.
