Combining Modern Technologies and Flat Design for a Professional Online Presence

Project Scope was born out of Pawel Malenczak's need for a professional portfolio website that would showcase his projects and attract new clients. As a freelance frontend architect, Malenczak sought to create a website that would express creativity and professionalism. The result is a unique yet simple website that harmoniously combines modern technologies and flat layout.

The website stands out for its custom grid system, which allows Malenczak to present his portfolio in a unique fashion. This grid system also ensures the website works well across different screen resolutions and devices. The interface is designed to be visually and technically high quality, looking fresh, sharp, and crisp, and is easy to navigate and understand.

The website was developed using HTML5 to reflect its minimalistic layout and enhance user experience. The layout structure is based on a fully responsive grid system that easily adapts to different screen resolutions. All visual effects, transitions, and animations were developed using CSS3, jQuery, and animated SVG elements. The goal was to maintain a high-quality interface across all screens.

Project Scope is a responsive one-page website with several microsites presenting case studies. Users can navigate between selected projects by sliding images in the work gallery or clicking arrows. The user interface changes when displayed on mobile devices to improve content readability and provide the best user experience.

The design process for Project Scope began in July 2015 with a brand redesign process. The web design and development were completed in September 2015 in Warsaw, Poland. Malenczak's research focused on different ways of online presence suitable for a freelancer, analyzing websites, communication, and visual identity of successful professionals and agencies in the creative industry. The result is a unique design that breaks the rules to stand out.

Project Scope has been recognized for its design excellence, winning the Golden A' Website and Web Design Awards in 2016. This award is granted to marvelous, outstanding, and trendsetting creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom. They are venerated products and bright ideas that advance art, science, design, and technology, embodying extraordinary excellence and significantly impacting the world with their desirable characteristics.
