Every corner of the lobby is sensitively designed, taking inspiration from the nature of Minsk. The materials used, including wood, stone, and wools, are largely natural, creating an aesthetic and holistic context. The design features indigenous materials and accents of locally inspired artwork, reflecting a contemporary style.
The lobby encompasses various areas, including a casino, restaurants, a bar, and a waiting area, covering a total area of approximately 1100 sqm. Impeccable craftsmanship and bespoke finishes define the 267 guest rooms, with wood-clad walls, custom carpeting, and faceted metal pendants.
The multifunctional lobby space is intended to be shared by the community and provides a vibrant gathering space for the hotel's guests. An arrival zone, featuring a bar and a bistro serving drinks and world cuisine, welcomes visitors. The brand's signature spa, with individual treatment rooms and a pool, adds to the overall experience.
The design project for the Renaissance Minsk Hotel Lobby started in December 2011 and was completed at the end of 2012. Throughout the process, the design team overcame creative, technical, and research challenges to create a space that seamlessly integrates contemporary style, indigenous materials, and locally inspired artwork.
The Renaissance Minsk Hotel Lobby, designed by Arketipo Design, is a testament to the team's dedication to creating a unique and inviting space that reflects the essence of Minsk. It has been recognized for its excellence, receiving the Iron A' Design Award in 2016 for Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design.
