TBP (To Be Plugged) is not your ordinary lamp. It is a ludic and iconic piece that can be placed anywhere in the house, adding a touch of elegance and style to any space. The TBP lamp is made of copper and glass, giving it a sleek and sophisticated look. The lighting is powered by LED technology, ensuring energy efficiency and longevity. The lamp consists of two parts that stay securely plugged together thanks to a magnet. The male part of the lamp simply pushes an interruptor placed inside the female part to turn on the light.

With dimensions of 240mm (width) x 80mm (depth) x 80mm (height) and a 1.5m cable, the TBP lamp is designed to be easily assembled and used. Its intuitive plug/unplug system makes it a breeze to operate, just like an AC plug. The fabric cables can be tied to anything, allowing users to create a unique and creative environment. Multiple lamps can be used to enhance the ambiance of a room or even adorn a wall.

The TBP lamp is the result of a project that started in February 2016 and was created for the first collection of a brand new French startup called Iconocrafts. Adrien Degeorges, the designer behind this innovative lamp, drew inspiration from the extension cords found in homes as a reference to our capacity to disconnect from the digital world and enjoy moments of relaxation.

One of the challenges in the creative process was to find a coherent story and place the product within a specific universe. Adrien Degeorges believes in creating strong designs with a real message, and the TBP lamp is a testament to that philosophy. It combines elegance, functionality, and a call to disconnect from the chaos of everyday life.

The TBP lamp has garnered recognition and acclaim in the design community. In 2016, it was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements.
