Wen-Ho Tseng's Affluent & Fluent: A Masterpiece of Simplicity and Elegance

Unveiling the Award-Winning Reception Center Design Inspired by Nature's Power

The inspiration for the Affluent & Fluent reception center came from the desire to incorporate elements of nature into the indoor space. Tseng aimed to capture the energetic green elements of the surrounding environment and transform the comfort of carefree leisure into the space itself. The use of monochromatic material enhances the harmonious visual appreciation, whether indoors or outdoors, creating an ideal creative space.

What sets this design apart is its expression of simplicity without redundancy. The elegant use of color in a modern method, the spacious flow, the colorful jade wall, and the concise and well-utilized staircase intertwine to enhance the visual sight's penetration and extension. This design's unique properties have led to its recognition as a masterpiece of simplicity and elegance.

The realization of this design was achieved by naturally exposing its exquisite and unique aspects, elevating the space's fluency and highlighting its artistic mood. The result is a harmonious and comfortable space that provides a gracefully modern life. The design spans 1125 square meters, making it a grand testament to Tseng's vision and skill.

The design's interaction is defined by the interweaving of light and nature, which creates a qualified life. The project was completed in 2015 in Taichung City. The design process involved adopting the power of nature into the indoor space, capturing every energetic green element in the surrounding environments, and transforming the comfort of carefree and leisure into the space itself.

Despite the challenges faced during the design process, Tseng successfully expressed simplicity without other redundant designs. The best presentation, along with the elegant color usage in a modern method, the spacious flow, the colorful jade wall, and the concise and well-utilized staircase, intertwines the penetration and extension of visual sight.

The Affluent & Fluent design project has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2017. This award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation. These designs, admired for their strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, showcase a remarkable level of excellence and introduce positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
