The main focus of this project was to connect the drawings of flowers on the wallpaper with real flowers used in the decoration of the stand. The aesthetic idea behind the exhibition stand is to create the image of a sunny meadow with flowers, reflecting the essence of the exhibitor company, Wallpaper Factory Palitra.
What sets this design apart is its attention to detail and the integration of various elements. The drawings of flowers on the wallpaper are brought to life with real flowers placed on the floor of the stand. The lamps, designed to resemble flower buds, add a touch of whimsy and elegance to the overall design.
The Exhibition Stand Palitra covers an area of 126 sq. m. and is constructed using the Octanorm System. The surfaces are made from ecological recycled chipboard, showcasing the designer's commitment to sustainability.
One of the highlights of this design is the interaction it offers to visitors. They can not only see the wallpaper on the walls but also touch and feel the texture and relief of the designs. The walls of the stand are equipped with special lighting that enhances the visual experience, further emphasizing the beauty of the wallpaper.
The project, which started in September 2015 in Moscow, was completed in January 2016 in Frankfurt am Main, where it was showcased at the Heimtextil 2016 exhibition. Throughout the design process, the team faced challenges in creating the illusion of a sunny meadow, but with the help of special lighting and flower decorations, they were able to overcome these obstacles and bring the design to life.
The Exhibition Stand Palitra has received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2017. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate innovation, practicality, and adherence to professional and industrial standards.
With its seamless integration of art, nature, and technology, the Exhibition Stand Palitra is a testament to the creativity and vision of Viktor Bilak. This design not only showcases the beauty of wallpaper but also creates a memorable and immersive experience for visitors.
