When entering the residence, we can see the wide-open mezzanine in grey brown, the space with composed and introvert atmosphere. The interior public area is composed of the living room, dining room, and open bar. The marble wall and bar, the classical-style moldings on the ceiling and wall cabinet, the delicate chandelier, the geometric-style screen, and the modern furniture, create the excellent household in classical and contemporary skills.
The couch in grey, white and black, and the contemporary large vase and flora decorations, create the comfortable environment that is both graceful without relaxing and composed without pleasure. The bedroom, on the other side, creates the simple and pure life style by using logs, ironworks, and leather chairs. This is what we call "home," a place gathering different styles and composites.
When coming in the living room on the other side of the restaurant, we can see the main grey wall segregated by moldings and hung with a large abstract painting, the design making people feel as if staying in the art gallery.
The project finished in January 2014 in Taichung City, Taiwan. When going up along the stairs, the second floor in the mezzanine is the private space. Continued with the contemporary and classical style in public area, the wooden French door made of trapezoid timbers introduces daylight in the room. Meanwhile, the wooden floor, beautiful contemporary chandelier, and couches, create a best place for family life and interaction.
In the main bedroom, the designer presents the one-of-a-kind classical style by making the sophisticate geometrical- carved wall, the classical bedside lamps, and the molding wall. The bedroom, on the other side, creates the simple and pure life style by using logs, ironworks, and leather chairs. This is what we call "home," a place gathering different styles and composites.
