The inspiration behind Fume lies in the desire to create an easily accessible and attractive marker pen stand that not only serves its purpose but also adds a touch of color and style to the user's desk. The design's unique properties lie in its dual functionality as a package and a stationary marker holder, a feature that sets it apart from conventional marker pen stands.

Fume is a product of advanced technology, specifically plastic injection molding. The stand is made of HDPE or PMMA plastics, which are bent into the desired shape. The technical specifications of the design are 155 mm x 155 mm x 168 mm, making it a compact solution that saves desk space while accommodating up to 40 marker pens at a time.

The design's rotating feature allows easy access to every marker pen. After use, the pen can be placed back into any desired outlet, either vertically or horizontally. As a package, Fume offers a practical solution for storing and organizing marker pens.

The project was completed in 2017 in Ankara, Turkey, by the Designnobis Team. The main challenge during the design process was to create an aesthetic look while ensuring the pens were easily reachable from every angle, all within the constraints of production. The design's success in overcoming these challenges is evident in its functionality and visual appeal.

As a testament to its innovative design and functionality, Fume was awarded the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in 2017. This award is granted to outstanding creations that reflect the designer's wisdom and significantly impact the world with their desirable characteristics.
