MyEquilibria: A Revolution in Outdoor Fitness

Vito Di Bari's Award-Winning Design Merges Art, Innovation, and Wellness

Vito Di Bari, a renowned designer, has created a revolutionary concept in outdoor fitness - MyEquilibria. This 7m tall iconic ‘Fitness Tree’ is a unique blend of art, cutting-edge materials, high-end wellness equipment, and community. Inspired by Voronoi Diagrams, MyEquilibria sculptures seamlessly blend into outdoor environments, meeting the growing trend for outdoor fitness and bodyweight training.

What sets MyEquilibria apart is its unique properties. The structure is made from molded and hand-polished multi-patented Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC), which is 5x thinner, 10x stronger, and lasts 100x longer than traditional concrete. This UHPC seamlessly integrates with the highest-grade Inox steel, providing an innovative and sleek workout experience.

The realization of MyEquilibria was a result of five years of research and development by an international team of designers, futurologists, fitness experts, personal trainers, engineers, and sociologists. The project primarily used Ultra High Performance Concrete, High Performance Concrete, and Steel with nautical treatment. The UHPC used in the project has three patents.

MyEquilibria takes basic instinctive fitness training to the next level. It is designed for both professional users and those without experience. With a free application available on Android and IOS, users can access over 500 video exercise tutorials searchable by muscle group, fitness level, or equipment. This makes MyEquilibria a versatile and accessible fitness solution for all.

The project started in August 2011 in Miami Beach and completed in Treviso in early 2016. It was previewed at FuoriSalone, Orto Botanico di Brera in April 2016 and received European certifications in May 2016 and for the USA in September 2016. The project overcame several challenges, including finding the right material to create a tall and elegant sculpture that could withstand all weather conditions and environments.

In recognition of its innovative design and contribution to the fitness industry, MyEquilibria was awarded Silver in A' Sporting Goods, Fitness and Recreation Equipment Design Award in 2017. This award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation.
