Located within a bustling commercial building, Castello 4 had to stand out amidst a sea of competitors. The challenge was to attract potential customers and maximize covers for the owners. Liu's solution was to create a stunning visual impact the moment elevator doors open. The result is a design that not only attracts but also amazes, drawing attention in an instant.

The design's unique properties lie in its ingenious use of symmetrical patterns and different sets of lighting. These elements give the restaurant its distinctive character. The design starts from the center line of the space and uses a bi-folding concept to create a symmetrical pattern in the shape of a vaulted ceiling. Pillars in the shape of an inverted triangle further emphasize the height of the ceiling, creating an illusion of space.

The restaurant's design also cleverly incorporates the original finishing of the space to minimize construction costs. Cement board pillars and rusty plates match perfectly with the existing concrete walls, giving the space a raw and authentic feel. Rusty screens with laser-cut triangular patterns are placed in front of large windows to conceal discordant views and the structure of the building facade, while ensuring that the space is still illuminated by natural light.
