Lenovo's ideapad 720S is a continuation of the brand's legacy, bringing a new generation of design to the forefront. With an extremely narrow bezel, exquisite materials, and a whole-metal shell structure, the ideapad 720S is a testament to Lenovo's pursuit of slim, simple, and elegant design.

Designed with the Millennial Generation in mind, the ideapad 720S boasts a simple yet fashionable design, high performance, and a unique dynamic box design language. The design allows the screen to lie 180 degrees flat, making it adaptable to various usage scenarios. With a 4.95mm bezel, the ideapad 720S offers the narrowest bezel in the consumer market, all while maintaining an optimal camera experience.

The ideapad 720S is crafted from recyclable aluminum material and features an internal structure frame. The design process for the ideapad 720S began in April 2016 in Morrisville, NC, America, and concluded in February 2017 in Beijing, China. The project was launched in China in April 2017. The design team, including Brian Leonard, Liang Runsheng, and Kang Yuan, conducted extensive research to identify customer pain points regarding daily usage, such as balancing portability and performance, standby time, and weight.

The ideapad 720S was awarded the Golden A' Digital and Electronic Device Design Award in 2018, a testament to its outstanding design and trendsetting creation.
