In terms of production, the chaise lounge is made using a combination of leather or fine fabrics and elastic engineer support. The Tzalam solid wood and multiple-layer foam seating are carefully crafted by hand, ensuring the highest quality and attention to detail.

The design process for the Picasso Chaise Lounge began in November 2016 and was completed in July 2017 at the design prototype laboratory of G. Rios furniture and design in Merida, Mexico. Throughout the project, extensive research was conducted, drawing inspiration from a synthesis of lithographs by the renowned painter Pablo Picasso. The aim was to extract isolated forms and concepts of communication from Picasso's artwork and translate them into inspiring design elements that challenge traditional norms and encourage bold creativity.

Overcoming various creative, technical, and research challenges, the design team ensured that the chaise lounge was both functional and durable. Extensive studies were conducted to determine the materials' resistance, while multiple prototypes were created to perfect the foam system and upholstery, achieving the desired comfort and aesthetics.

The Picasso Chaise Lounge is a testament to the designer's vision and creativity. Inspired by the unique shapes and angles found in Picasso's artwork, this piece stimulates the senses and invites relaxation. Its proportions become apparent when one or two individuals enjoy the comfort it offers, creating a harmonious blend of art and comfort.
