Turkish & Steak Restaurant

Biget Steak & Co. is a unique Turkish and steak restaurant designed by Ozhan Hazirlar. Inspired by the grill, the heart of the kitchen, the design combines traditional Turkish cuisine with modern elements, creating a common design language. The restaurant offers different atmospheres and aims to strengthen family relationships with dedicated child areas. With a modular seating arrangement, it provides a comfortable space for business and group meetings.

The design of Biget Steak & Co. sets it apart from other restaurants in its category. The use of traditional Turkish grill culture and modern kitchen elements creates a unique blend of flavors and aesthetics. The restaurant features hidden air conditioning elements, utilizing the heat of wood and acoustic effects to enhance the dining experience. Straight movements and increased ceiling height perception further add to the overall ambiance.

Spanning across 1600 square meters, Biget Steak & Co. is located on Hadımköy Street in Esenyurt, Istanbul. The project began in September 2015 and was completed in November 2016, with the grand opening taking place in February 2017. Throughout the design process, extensive research was conducted on traditional meat restaurants, Turkish meat cultures, steak culture, and kitchen structures. The use of different materials and application techniques, as well as the incorporation of a corn plant wall with irrigation and breeding techniques, further highlight the attention to detail in this design.

Despite facing challenges with the existing building's infrastructure, the design team successfully overcame them through meticulous restoration work. The result is a visually stunning and functional space that captivates visitors from the moment they enter. The meat cabinet positioned at the entrance increases the desire to indulge in the restaurant's offerings, creating an immersive dining experience.

Biget Steak & Co. has been recognized for its excellence in design, receiving the prestigious A' Design Award in 2018. This award acknowledges the restaurant's well-designed, practical, and innovative features that meet professional and industrial requirements. The design is respected for integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, contributing to a better world.
