The biggest challenge in creating Purseat was reducing its size and weight while meeting safety regulations. However, the team overcame this obstacle and the seat passed the safety tests in August 2017, obtaining the necessary certifications.

Purseat has received recognition for its innovative design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Baby, Kids, and Children's Products Design category in 2018.
