Arianaz Dehghan, the designer, was captivated by the intricate techniques employed by the Qashqai people to create awe-inspiring patterns. After spending time among the tribe, Dehghan was inspired to translate their story into a wearable art form.

What sets the Qashqai Earrings apart is their ability to incorporate the symbolism residing within Qashqai kilims. The ram pattern, delicately crafted in matte gold, represents fertility and is a nod to the culture of the Qashqai tribe. The tassel, on the other hand, pays homage to the Qashqai carpets, clinging to a modern version of the traditional design on a lady's ear.

Made from gold-plated silver and adorned with 100% natural silk tassels, the Qashqai Earrings are a testament to the designer's attention to detail. The silver parts are laser-cut on a 1mm plate, and the tassels are meticulously knotted and formed by hand. The combination of these materials and techniques results in a truly unique piece of jewelry.

With dimensions of 150mm in width, 1mm in thickness, and 250mm in height, the Qashqai Earrings are lightweight and comfortable to wear, weighing approximately 2 grams each. The choice of silver 925 as the primary material ensures durability and longevity.

The Qashqai Earrings have garnered recognition for their outstanding design. They were awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Jewelry, Eyewear, and Watch Design category in 2018. This prestigious award celebrates designs that exhibit strong technical and creative skills, contributing to improvements in quality of life.
