The Oriental Style Restaurant, a 1000 square meter space, is a renowned establishment that has successfully captured the essence of classical oriental style. The design, inspired by historical literatures and bamboo forests, manifests the graceful and elegant spirit of ancient China. The use of diverse modern construction materials and design skills has resulted in an artistic environment that transports customers back in time.
Chin-Lien Lin's unique approach to interior design is evident in the restaurant's distinctive features. The walls, adorned with calligraphy, evoke memories of China's cultural heritage. Fustic woods, Chinese-style bamboo curtains, and lanterns artistically present classical literatures within the space, further enhancing the ambiance of the restaurant.
The designer's innovative use of materials and design elements extends to the reception counter, which is decorated in two distinct styles. One side is adorned with cherry blossoms, while the other is embellished with timber piles, showcasing the designer's ability to harmoniously blend different styles and elements within a single space.
Chin-Lien Lin's design philosophy is deeply rooted in the connection between people and their environment. This is evident in the use of culture-stone walls and rough rocks that seamlessly integrate the restaurant with its surroundings. The landscape of the pool and traditional urn not only add to the aesthetic appeal of the space but also present a deeper appreciation of life, fortune, and prayer.
The Oriental Style Restaurant, a testament to Chin-Lien Lin's innovative design approach, was recognized with the Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2018. This prestigious award is a testament to the restaurant's outstanding design, technical excellence, and artistic skill, further solidifying Chin-Lien Lin's reputation as a leading figure in interior design.
