Wang Residence: A Boutique Style Residence with a Touch of Elegance

Creating a Unique Dining Experience

For the client favoring the cross Gothic family crest, it is evident that the client cares much for the residential impression.

To present the boutique style in the dining room, designer Jao-Wen Chao adorns the walls with Hermes silk mufflers. The use of Louis Ghost chairs, invented by Philippe Starck, adds a staggering touch to the overall design. The display cabinet aesthetically creates the visual effect of a boutique window display. The stylish ceiling and mirrors alleviate the suppressive sight impact of column pillars, making the dining area appear more expansive.

As dazzling as a diamond, the geometrical-shaped ceiling in the living room is enchanting and stylish. The magnificent marble walls in off-white appearances, along with the eye-catching 3D wall surfaces, create a captivating ambiance. The red Ligne Roset sofa, the grey couch, and the white massage chair demonstrate the designer's attitude of bringing fashion into the home.

This 140 square meter space showcases the designer's skill in creating a unique and elegant residence. The design layout incorporates geometrical ideas into the current fashion, resulting in an avant-garde interior design. The genuine distinguishing effects, created by the Turkish blue leathers wall ornamented with recessed illuminations and the beige desk, consistently send forth the spirit of fashion.

The foyer, designed in geometrical shapes, distinguishes the indoor space from the outdoor, showcasing the cutting-edge idea of interior design. With proper illuminations, the vista wall decorated with leathers and white-and-black ironworks creates a visually structured environment.

The Wang Residence project was completed in July 2017 in Taichung City, Taiwan. The owner, a distinctive girl with an independent personality, desired a concise spatial design. The use of gray as the basic spatial tone expresses the original spirit of raw material. The statue placed under the light serves as a direct expression of the space, showcasing the owner's personal charm and frank personality.

This exceptional design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2018 in the category of Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design. This prestigious award recognizes well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The Wang Residence stands out for its integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive feelings, contributing to a better world.
