Kulp is a door lever design that combines elegance and modernity. What sets it apart from other door levers is its wide range of customization possibilities. With changeable parts, users can create the most suitable combination to match their interior design preferences. Whether it's metallic painted parts, matte paint parts, or rubber parts, Kulp offers endless options for personalization.

One of the key features of Kulp is its push-button mechanism, which allows it to be both lockable and unlockable. This makes it versatile and suitable for various settings. For example, privacy locking is ideal for bedrooms and bathrooms, providing an added layer of security and convenience.

The design and production of Kulp prioritize sustainability. The entire structure and all parts are made of die-cast aluminum, a material that is environmentally friendly and can be recycled. In fact, 30% of the aluminum used in Kulp is obtained from the recycling of scrap, and this ratio reaches 70% in sectors such as electricity, construction, and motor vehicles. By choosing aluminum, the designer ensures that Kulp will never become waste and will not harm the environment.

With its sleek dimensions of 130mm in length, 50mm in width, and 65mm in depth, Kulp is a lightweight door lever, weighing approximately 650 grams. Its reversible design allows it to be installed on both right and left-handed doors, providing flexibility for different door configurations.

The Kulp project started in Ankara in February 2017 and was completed in January 2018. Throughout the design process, extensive research was conducted to infuse sustainability concepts into the product. The designer examined surveys discussing the roles and responsibilities of product and process design in environmental sustainability and social responsibility efforts. Additionally, metal shaping and molding methods, connection details, and CNC applications were explored to ensure the technical excellence of Kulp.

Kulp has received recognition for its exceptional design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Furniture Accessories, Hardware, and Materials Design category in 2018. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. Kulp's integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics make it a standout design that contributes to a better world.
