Ausos: The Smart Lamp and Chandelier Revolutionizing Morning Routines

Enhancing Wake-Up Experiences with Innovative Lighting Design

Ausos, designed by Natalie Musorina, is a series of smart lamps and chandeliers that aim to improve the morning routines of individuals living in northern countries. Inspired by ancient solar symbols and the functionality of the sun, these luminaries not only provide a smooth awakening but also serve as stunning light sources for any space.

Living in regions with limited daylight hours can disrupt circadian rhythms and cause stress for the human body. Ausos lamps were created to overcome this problem by integrating a dawn-simulating function with a smartphone alarm clock. By gradually increasing the light intensity, these lamps mimic the natural sunrise, allowing users to wake up more gently and feel energized.

What sets Ausos apart from other light alarm clocks is their aesthetic appeal and versatility. They are not just functional devices but also visually striking pieces that can enhance any interior. The lamps are available in two designs: a table lamp and a chandelier, both crafted with high-quality materials such as copper and steel.

The table lamp measures up to 620mm in width, 220mm in depth, and 500mm in height, while the chandelier boasts dimensions of 740mm in width, 740mm in depth, and 380mm in height. Both designs feature a bright RGB LED strip as the light source, ensuring optimal illumination. To create a soft and comfortable light, the lamps are equipped with reflectors covered in a special silver diffusing finish, which minimizes light loss and maximizes energy efficiency.

Controlling the Ausos lamps is effortless through a mobile application that seamlessly integrates with the smartphone's alarm clock. Users can easily set their desired wake-up time, melody, and other preferences. Once connected, the lamps will automatically synchronize with the alarm, providing a personalized and stress-free morning routine.

One of the main challenges in designing Ausos was accommodating the additional devices required for the smart functionality. The lamp and chandelier had to provide space for a power supply, controller, and infrared sensor switch. Additionally, the metal construction required careful consideration to ensure that the Bluetooth signal from the smartphone to the controller was not blocked.

Ausos has garnered recognition in the design world, receiving the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2018. This award is a testament to the lamp's well-designed, practical, and innovative features that meet professional and industrial requirements. With its integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, Ausos contributes to a better world by providing fulfillment and positive feelings.

Experience the revolution in morning routines with Ausos, the smart lamp and chandelier that combines functionality, aesthetics, and technology to create a truly unique lighting experience.
