P12 - Organic ConcreteArchitect Ariel Isaac Franco Creates a Unique Villa Design Inspired by Luxury Yachts
The Carmel mountainside is home to a unique villa design inspired by luxury yachts. Architect Ariel Isaac Franco’s modern and innovative design was built on a 2,000 square meters plot located on Mount Carmel in front of a stunning view of the Mediterranean. The design’s three stacked deck-like levels provide three separate living spaces which allow the clients to conduct their lives, pursue their hobbies, and comfortably host their children's families during weekends and holidays, while preserving privacy and integrating the stunning views and the surrounding into the house.
Designer Ariel Isaac Franco has created a masterpiece with the P12 - Organic Concrete design. This stunning house combines elements of tectonic architecture with hydro and aero-dynamic properties from yachts to create a seamless connection between the house and the sea.
The design takes into consideration the steep hillside lot and divides the program into three main living spaces that are situated one above the other in a steps formation. This overlapping design creates a connecting core and allows the upper level to utilize the roof of the lower two. Additionally, the parking structure has been physically separated from the main house for security measures, but still remains an integral part of the composition.
One of the standout features of the P12 - Organic Concrete design is the smooth surface look achieved throughout the entire skin of the house. The outer sub skin surface is made of specially designed ceramic tiles, installed above the outer layer of insulation. This creates a thick air buffer between the concrete roof and the skin, enhancing thermal efficiency and preventing inner condensation.
The design also prioritizes the integration of the surrounding environment. The exterior platform consists of a long infinity swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, and a wide recreational area, allowing the clients to fully enjoy the breathtaking sea views.
The P12 - Organic Concrete design is a testament to the creativity and innovation of Ariel Isaac Franco. With its unique features and stunning location, this villa is truly a work of art.
