The collection's design was inspired by the designers' Buddhist background and their familiarity with Thai temple architecture since childhood.

The production process of the Round Collection is a testament to the studio's commitment to craftsmanship. The traditional bamboo coiling technique requires stiff materials to form a shape first, after which soft materials like bamboo strips are woven in coil around the object. In a unique twist, Patapian Studio Co. Ltd. coiled bamboo strips with brass strips to create a new pattern. The rhythm of the metal reflects light, while the marble adds a shiny touch, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the collection.
