Polo Cafe: A Blend of Elegance and Sportsmanship

Cheng Hui Hsin's Award-Winning Design Transforms a Cafe into a Symbolic Art Piece

In the heart of Taiwan's Tai Yuen Hi-Tech Industrial Park, an elegant and classical dining environment, Polo Cafe, stands out with its unique blend of sportsmanship and European classic taste. Designed by Cheng Hui Hsin, the cafe is a testament to the designer's love for life and his ability to transform spaces into symbolic art pieces.

Cheng Hui Hsin drew inspiration from the spirit of polo, a sport synonymous with luxury and elegance. He combined this sportsmanship with a European classic taste of interior design, creating a space that is both low-profile and fancy. The cafe is adorned with a symbolic art piece of moving orbit, which immediately captivates visitors as they step into the cafe. The use of materials such as metal, wood, and panel further enhances the cafe's elegant atmosphere.

Polo Cafe is not just a dining space; it is a grand hall that offers various services in an exquisite atmosphere. It is located next to the Tai Yuen Hi-Tech Industrial Park, making it a favorite spot for the neighborhood. The cafe's unique properties, including its elegant and classical design infused with sportsmanship, set it apart from other dining environments.

The cafe's realization was achieved through the use of ferrotitanium, marble, wood, glass, and other materials, creating an affluent space. The combination of these materials allows visitors to experience not just the elegance of coffee but the comfort of the entire environment. The image of the polo seems to be experienced by the guests, giving them a unique dining experience.

The design of Polo Cafe was a challenge for Cheng Hui Hsin. He had to find the cafe's brand features and integrate the environment and humanistic features around the base into the design. The goal was to create an elegant space that does not create a sense of distance, allowing everyone who comes to taste coffee to enjoy a good afternoon in such an atmosphere.

The Polo Cafe was started in December 2016 and finished in April 2017 in Taiwan Hsinchu. The design was awarded Silver in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2019, a testament to its outstanding expertise and innovation. The award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that introduce positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
