Supreme: Redefining Kitchen Spaces with Integrated Worktop Range Hood

Silverline Design Team's Innovative Solution Offers Compact, Efficient, and High-Performance Cooking Experience

As kitchens evolve into significant living spaces, the demand for elegantly designed functional products is on the rise. The Supreme, an innovative worktop range hood by the Silverline Design Team, is a game-changer, offering a 2-in-1 cooking experience that saves space and enhances efficiency.

Supreme is a hybrid product that combines the extractor hood and hob into a single surface, offering a flexible and comprehensive cooking experience. Its unique properties include high performance, ease of use, and easy maintenance. The improved air extraction cone, with a depth of just 18 cm, ensures enough space for the drawers of the countertop. The compact structure maximizes the use of storage space under the countertop, and the design details simplify and speed up cleaning operations. Supreme's new generation motor technology offers an A++ Energy class and a 620 m3/h flow rate.

What sets Supreme apart from its competitors is the aluminum extrusion grill for the extraction feature. Manufactured by molding, it creates a timeless and robust design with the use of high-quality materials. The other components, such as the air extractor cone and funnels, are molded plastics. The product dimensions are 850 mm in width, 520 mm in depth, and 180 mm in height.

Supreme combines air extraction with the induction hob, designed for the comfort of the end-user. The motor component is placed in the inner panel of the countertop, which provides ease of assembly and lowers the height of the induction hob to 18 cm. This thinness offers usable space for the drawers of the countertop. The induction cooking technology provides a high level of safety, and all control panels are on the seamless surface of the hob. The separated air extraction motor unit has a water draining unit, which provides easy evacuation.

The project started in April 2018 in Merzifon and was completed in August 2018. It was exhibited in IFA 2018 in Berlin and IMM Cologne 2019. The research phase was led by the research and development department, in collaboration with the product management and Design team in Istanbul. The challenge was to design a stand-out grill that supports and does not limit the expected feature of high performance and high airflow rate of the motor.

Supreme has been recognized for its innovative design and functionality, winning the Silver A' Home Appliances Design Award in 2019. This award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation.
