Andromeda, designed by Djivan Schapira, is a cocktail table that captivates with its unique and mesmerizing design. The table features recycled end grain discs embedded in a midnight blue resin, creating a galaxy-like pattern beneath a glossy or satin finish. Each disc of end grain is unique, making each piece a limited edition. The table sits on a sleek 3-piece spaceship-style base, which can be easily assembled by the client.

What sets Andromeda apart is the innovative process used to create its table top. Djivan Schapira's patent-pending technique involves embedding cross-cuts of recycled wooden end grain in resin, which is colored using combinations of liquid pigment. The top's edge is inlayed with a brass wire, adding a touch of elegance. The 3-piece base consists of two brass legs and a single resin leg, color-matched to the midnight blue top. The table packs flat when shipped and comes with an assembly manual, making it convenient for customers.

With its glossy mirror finish, Andromeda presents a transformative experience. The Andromeda project began in the summer of 2017 and was ready to be presented to the public in November of the same year. Djivan Schapira, the sole designer and producer, dedicated two years to perfecting the process of using end grain as a "paint brush" within resin. This involved extensive research, strategic thinking, prototyping, and a relentless attitude to overcome the challenges associated with working with resin.

Andromeda's unique design and craftsmanship have been recognized with the Iron A' Design Award in 2019. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements.
