The Forest Dimensions project, designed by Yuan-Ting Chuang and Jui-Wen Cheng, is a stunning example of interior design that seamlessly blends nature with the comforts of home. This unique space, located in Tainan City, Taiwan, captures the essence of a tranquil retreat, where residents can immerse themselves in the beauty of the surrounding environment.

One of the standout features of Forest Dimensions is the smooth flowing of the space, which creates a sense of ease and relaxation. The design takes inspiration from the natural world, incorporating elements such as light, color, and materiality to create a space that feels connected to nature. The low stimulation of the senses unfolds at a frequency close to nature, allowing residents to experience a sense of calm and serenity.

The designers have carefully chosen materials that enhance the natural ambiance of the space. Natural water-dyed steel brush iron knife veneer, white oak solid wood steel plate, and imitation stone medium-density fiberboard are just a few of the materials used to bring the design to life. With an area of 250 square meters, Forest Dimensions offers a spacious and inviting environment for residents to enjoy. The high-rise unit of demonstrative housing for people aged between 45 and 50 faces a picture window that blurs the distinction between the inside and outside, further enhancing the connection to nature.

Forest Dimensions was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2019 for its outstanding and creatively ingenious design.
