Heshanjun Residence Sales Center

A Combination of Modern Art and Traditional Oriental Aesthetics

The sales center, with a total area of 900 square meters, serves as the gateway to the Heshanjun Residence, a residential property. The design team, led by Chao Wang and Yang Wang, aimed to create a space that reflects the overall style of the residence while incorporating modern elements.

One of the key design elements of the sales center is the use of traditional Chinese painting techniques. The designers have incorporated scroll and carving methods to showcase classical Chinese aesthetics. The paintings depict mountains and rivers, matching the theme of the entire property and creating a sense of harmony and tranquility.

To break away from the freezing winter outside, the designers have used a color scheme dominated by red and green, creating an interior full of life. This choice of colors not only adds warmth to the space but also pays homage to traditional Chinese culture.

The Heshanjun Residence Sales Center was designed and completed between October and December 2018 in Baotou, China. The project presented several challenges, particularly in finding the right balance between showcasing regional and cultural characteristics while appealing to modernist aesthetics. The design team successfully overcame these challenges by seamlessly integrating traditional elements with cutting-edge design concepts.

The sales center has received recognition for its outstanding design. In 2019, it was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award acknowledges the creativity and ingenuity of the design, which combines art, science, and technology to improve the quality of life.
