Colourliving and B&B Italia Unveil a New Benchmark in Luxury Furniture Showrooms

The showroom's unique properties lie in its ability to display a variety of styles in a single space. The 3,700 square foot showroom features multiple areas, each showcasing a different style - from minimalist to decorative, all with an emphasis on contemporary living. The showroom also introduces Backstage, an elegant walk-in wardrobe designed by Citterio in hand-finished leather and wood, available for the first time in Hong Kong.

More than just a retail space, the showroom provides a holistic service, sharing with customers the latest views on home living trends in line with B&B Italia's philosophy. The interior of the store, based on B&B Italia's store concept by architect Antonio Citterio, echoes the ambiance of B&B Italia's headquarters in Novedrate, Como.

The project, which began in January 2017 and was completed in March 2017, is located on the 31st floor of Colourliving in Hong Kong. The showroom also features a unique outdoor collection by B&B Italia, including the Gio, a contemporary classic designed by Antonio Citterio for outdoor living. Despite the challenges of weather resistance, the fabrics used in the outdoor collection maintain their softness for users' enjoyment.

Introduced by Colourliving, the B&B Italia flagship showcases the Italian luxury furniture brand's timeless designs in an environment that reflects the striking settings architect Antonio Citterio has created. The layout presents multiple areas of different styles ranging from the minimalist to the decorative, but always with an accent on contemporary living. The showroom not only provides top-notch B&B Italia collections, but also a holistic service, sharing with customers the latest views on home living trends in line with the brand’s philosophy.

This design was awarded the Golden A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2020. The award is granted to marvelous, outstanding, and trendsetting creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom. They are venerated products and bright ideas that advance art, science, design, and technology, embodying extraordinary excellence and significantly impacting the world with their desirable characteristics.
