Black and White Narrative: A Minimalist and Fashionable Residence

Unveiling the Beauty of Simplicity

The Black and White Narrative residence stands out with its singular styling of the pattern of marble plank. Through special arrangement and design, each plank creates a visually extended perception, adding depth and dimension to the space. The ample natural lighting pouring in further enhances the beauty of the white-color marble, creating a serene and elegant atmosphere.

Spanning three floors, this stand-alone house features a reception area, tea-tasting room, living room, dining area, kitchen, two bedrooms, and four bathrooms. The layout is carefully planned to cater to the different social needs of the male and female clients, with separately designed public spaces on the first and second levels.

The design team utilized Spanish Marble Slim Plank and Spanish Ceramic Door to bring the vision to life. The use of system furniture and metalwork adds a touch of modernity and functionality to the overall design.

One of the notable features of the Black and White Narrative residence is the large windows that allow for ample natural lighting and ventilation. The electrically powered curtains provide convenience and ease of use, impressing the client with their functionality.

Located in New Tainan City, Taiwan, this project was completed in June 2019. The design team faced challenges in overcoming the low ceiling height while concealing air-conditioning equipment, but they successfully maintained the maximum ceiling height, ensuring a spacious and comfortable living environment.

The Black and White Narrative residence is a testament to the design team's meticulous research and attention to detail. The open-plan layout maximizes natural lighting and ventilation, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. The minimalist and fashionable elements, inspired by the client's preferences, are beautifully expressed through the use of marble panels and ceramic doors.

This exceptional design has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award honors designs that demonstrate creativity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to improving quality of life through art, science, design, and technology.
