A Repetitive Screen-Print Pattern Design for the Modern and Brave Woman

The Modern Women Collection features a repetitive screen-print pattern design that is made for the modern and brave woman. The design is implemented with different color combinations and applied on various fabrics such as cotton, silk, and satin. The prints are specifically created for the winter collection, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to the garments.

The realization of this design involves a digital drawing process, followed by the formation of a seamless repetitive pattern. Once the color combinations and pattern size are arranged, a range of 4-6 silk screen panels are prepared to create the main pattern forms in a square. This square is then repeated to build the full pattern design.

The pattern design comes in different variations in color, size, and layout, making each piece unique. The collection includes dresses, blouses, and scarves for the Camicie clothing brand's winter collection. The dresses can be worn in multiple ways, allowing the pattern design to remain visible and eye-catching.

The Modern Women Collection was designed and realized in Cairo, with the project starting in February 2019 and concluding in September 2019. It showcases the creativity and ingenuity of Nour Shourbagy, who aimed to create a design that celebrates the strength and femininity of women.

This design has been recognized for its excellence and creativity, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in the Textile, Fabric, Textures, Patterns, and Cloth Design category in 2020. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that demonstrate outstanding technical and creative skills, contributing to improvements in quality of life.
