Weimo Feng's Award-Winning Design Transforms Sales Center into a Dream Space

The design of Feiliyundi is unique in its use of modern, infinite circulation curves that span across the floor, molding the relationship between the floor and room. This creates more levels and memory points, with the coherent modeling serving as the core of the space. The unique high-quality design is achieved by combining the spatial feeling with functional requirements, realized through extensive model and construction site research.

Feiliyundi is realized using materials such as art paint, terrazzo, jade green stone, and artificial stone. The building spans an area of 1000 square meters, and its design tags include sustainable design, experience, revelations, infinite space, and Taicang. The design operates by using modern cross-floor infinite cycle arc shapes, blurring floor relations to create more hierarchical and memory points. This consistency of shape forms the core of the space block, integrating and superimposing the space experience and functional needs.

Located next to Tianjing Lake in Taicang City, the project began in January 2019 and was completed in July of the same year. Initially serving as a sales exhibition center, it will later function as a community activity center for residents. The design adheres to green and environmental protection principles, aiming for a zero-demolition space transformation. The design also aims to "go to the sales office" to provide a more WYSIWYG design.

The design process involved overcoming several challenges, including breaking through traditional selling in a limited space, dealing with the relationship between floor height and emptiness, and creating a high-quality, situational experience based on modernity. The main construction challenge lay in the production of special-shaped metal. Despite these challenges, the design successfully evokes emotion, offering a new experience within a magnificent and futuristic space structure. It provides an immersive environmentalism experience hall through the careful placement of artistic installations, clear movement of space, and decorative surfaces paved by materials and colors.

Feiliyundi is not just a design; it's a journey. It's a return to nature and a beneficial journey that transcends traditional design boundaries. Winning the Platinum A' Design Award, it recognizes world-class, exceptional, and highly innovative designs that showcase unmatched professionalism, genius, and contribute to societal wellbeing.
