Lars Hofmann's Award-Winning Watch Design Marries German Quality and Sustainable Innovation

Derived from the Berlin lifestyle and its famous landmarks, the L1 All Blue is a unique timepiece that tells its own story. The watch's crown is shaped like the Weltzeituhr at Alexanderplatz, while the fonts on the dial mirror those used in the street signs of eastern and western Berlin. The design's unique properties are further accentuated by a sun-cut dial for added depth of color, and a seconds hand in Serenity Blue for an additional touch of blue.

Designed in Berlin and assembled in Pforzheim and Ruhla, the L1 All Blue is a product of places where the art of watch-making is deeply rooted. The watch's case is made of 316L surgical steel, fitted with a sapphire-hardened mineral glass and a sun-cut dial. The hands and hours dial are highlighted with Superluminova, ensuring visibility at night. The watch's strap is plant-tanned, using only natural substances and no aggressive ingredients during the process.

The L1 All Blue is a quartz wristwatch with a movement from Swiss manufacturer Ronda. The watch's case measures 42.5mm in diameter and 7.5mm in thickness. The watch's design and idea are based on the first watch model created by Lars Hofmann - the L1. With the L1 All Blue Edition, Hofmann went further, bringing all the highlights together and adding an exceptional color.

Despite the challenges in finding the right suppliers for sustainable and environmentally friendly products, the team managed to find suppliers who could implement their design to the standards they were looking for. The result is a watch that not only reflects the architecture, landmarks, and style of the German capital but also the variety of the color blue.
