American Red Indian Chief

Sterling Silver Ring

Although rich in history, Native American culture is rarely showcased in jewelry. This piece features the iconic image of the Red Indian Chief, inspired by real-life Native American Indian Chief, Sitting Bull, whose prophetic vision foretold the defeat of the 7th Cavalry. The ring captures not only the details of the icon but exemplifies its spirit and leadership.

Carefully crafted to showcase the beautiful culture of the indigenous Americans, the American Red Indian Chief ring is a stunning piece of jewelry. The feathers on the headdress are designed to wrap around your knuckle, ensuring a comfortable fit despite its pronounced appearance. It is best worn on the middle or index finger, making a bold statement.

The American Red Indian Chief ring is made using a combination of modern and traditional techniques. It starts with a digital sculpture, which is then 3D printed in wax. Finally, it is traditionally casted in sterling silver, ensuring the highest quality and durability.

With dimensions of 40mm in height, 22mm in width, and 32mm in depth, the American Red Indian Chief ring is appropriately sized to make a statement without being overwhelming.

This unique piece of jewelry is tagged with keywords such as Native American, Red Indian, Sterling Silver, Ring, and Wild West, reflecting its cultural significance and design inspiration.

The design team behind the American Red Indian Chief ring includes designer Andrew Lam, script and research by See Tho Yong Yang, and prototyping by Shapeways. Their collaboration resulted in a stunning piece that beautifully represents the indigenous American culture.

While maintaining the elaborate feathery headdress design, which is a significant identity of the American Red Indian costume, the American Red Indian Chief ring is designed with careful pressure easing curves to ensure comfort and ease when wearing.

The project to create the American Red Indian Chief ring started in February 2017 and was completed in April 2017 in Singapore. Throughout the design process, the team faced challenges in creating an elaborate design that showcases the indigenous costume of the Native American culture while ensuring it is not difficult or uncomfortable to wear.

This unique piece of jewelry, designed by Andrew Lam, captures the spirit and leadership of the iconic Red Indian Chief. Its intricate details and comfortable fit make it a standout piece that celebrates the rich culture of the indigenous Americans.
