The NEPTO - Shield watch is made using a combination of 316L solid stainless steel and K1 glass. The case, with a diameter of 40mm and a thickness of 7mm, is carefully crafted to be light, fine, and comfortable. The K1 glass, known for its exceptional hardness, ensures durability and longevity.

During the design process, the NEPTO team utilized 3D printing technology to produce prototypes in plastic and stainless steel. This allowed them to confirm the shape and proportion of the case before finalizing the design. The choice of stainless steel was driven by the desire for a lightweight quartz movement, while the K1 glass provided superior protection and clarity.

The NEPTO - Shield project began in February 2018 in Berlin and concluded in December 2018 in Paris, with the reception of the final product.
