PEGnPLAY is a comprehensive solution developed with true Design Thinking, taking into consideration the needs and concerns of the stakeholders in its value chain. This innovative bench-based system furniture allows various add-on elements, such as sofa backs, armrests, back cushions, coffee trays, writing tablets, table frames, bookcases, and meeting islands, to be pegged onto the seating bench. This enhances the functionality of the product and supports various tasks in collaborative workplaces.

The modularized design of the PEGnPLAY system offers convenience for dealers in terms of transportation and assembling, while also lowering their burden for stock by providing flexibility in product combinations. For space planners and interior designers, the system enables them to flexibly plan out customized solutions for specific footprints or functional requirements. Additionally, for company users who are employers, the system provides material support for a dynamic and collaborative corporate culture, helping to attract and retain Millennial talent. The PEGnPLAY project started in 2018 and was first launched in March 2019 at the China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou) 2019. Throughout the design process, the team faced challenges in creating a modular system that would meet the diverse needs of different stakeholders. However, through true Design Thinking, they were able to overcome these challenges and create a solution that offers flexibility, functionality, and an enhanced workplace experience.

This innovative design has been recognized for its excellence and creativity. PEGnPLAY was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2020. This prestigious award is bestowed upon outstanding and creatively ingenious designs that authenticate experience and resourcefulness.
